Sure he / she is.... everything comes from thought, the world around you is nothing more than your thought forms at work...

So what about thoughts?

Thought comes from mind/ego.

What is mind/ego?

The ego is not a solid entity; there is no tangible element known as "the ego."

The ego is the continuous process of constantly re-creating yourself each moment of your life, from birth all the way to death.

The ego is transcended by keeping the vital force (prana) centered in the heart region and resting in the gaps between your breathing cycles.

eventually, you just automatically stop breathing, and go into higher planes of being/non-being.

Likewise, there is no such entity as "mind." We may liken the mind to a rubber-band ball, and each thought = a rubber band.

after removing each and every thought, every rubber band, what are we left with?

NOTHING.

Where did the "mind" go then?

bliss,

Excellent post there project..here are a few of my learnings....
I have often noticed when we see failure in life - failure of the ego, the ego tries to overcome that failure. The defense mechanisms are
initiated , which gives us energy to work hard and overcome the failure. This is our survival instinct.
..But, when life hurts the ego, if we introspect for a moment and think of ourselves as different from the ego, we can realize what we have been permanently and that ego is just a covering on our consiousness. Our desires, our needs, our feelings, our deeds, our losses, our despair, our anger, our jealousy, are all driven by our ego, our need to survive.
So is the good and bad in our mind . When we think of ourselves ..even in the most saddest or happiest moment in life as the one , which has always been there, before and always will be there after, then all these different things around us vanish and a sublime realization of one-ness, where no thoughts exist and even physical bliss is just a covering over the greatest knowledge of the self. the knowledge that there is no I or we , just the dot, and the rest is just a projection on the screen. May be this is what they meant by Maya...and we call ego.
Birth and death are a cycle, the ego can only protect our survival till the body is capable of surviving. But the soul...always there just the same, just the blissful , just the all-knowing, keeps guiding the ego to forget itself in every birth and remembering that it is actually the soul...
