Hello!
I'm striving for leading our goddess Kundalini beyond Swadishthana Chakra but i can't.
I suspect i got unconscious psychological blockages there.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Namaste!

Re: How to go beyond Swadishthana
Sat, October 4, 2008 - 4:48 PMCan you say more about what you're doing?
yes, more sat kriya may help. Also, nabhi kriiya. Anything that strengthens the lower triangle.
Maybe you have unconscious psychological blockages there.
On the other hand, maybe this process is asking you to delve deeper into svadhisthana and seek communion there. There could be gifts you've yet to uncover, and the wisdom of the kundalini is preventing you from skipping over it without receiving the treasure.
In one sense, the chakra map is like a ladder. A sequential line, from densest, to most subtle.
I believe that it's also a holographic system. Each chakra contains the others. If the heart chakra is open, you can find it in the sex chakra. If the crown is open, you will definitely experience it in the root. You can search for your will and your love and your vision in the 2nd chakra as well. What do you think?
Godspeed!

Re: How to go beyond Swadishthana
Sun, October 5, 2008 - 10:09 AMI align to the teachings of the Saraswati lineage. I follow the Hatha Yoga of Sw. Vishnudevananda and the Kriya Yoga of Sw. Satyananda.
To my understanding Sat Kriya belongs to the teachings of Yogi Bajan. Could mixing paths be recommended?
Anyway, i was to focus the issue more on psychological subjects rather than on yogic techniques. Although this, the latter are also welcome!

Re: How to go beyond Swadishthana
Sun, October 5, 2008 - 3:02 PMI don't think it's harmful to do some Kundalini as a supplement to your other practices. I find that the occasional Hatha class helps my Kundalini practice. It's nice to see things from a different perspective. -

Re: How to go beyond Swadishthana
Mon, October 6, 2008 - 7:09 AMWhy not try some gardening, cutting wood, jogging to loosen it up.
I don't know what the other guy is trying to say like "Sat Kriya" Man but sounds like bullshit to me. Some people like that kinda chakra bullshit lingo since it makes them sound "wise" - truth is often quite simple and easy to do.
Nervousness in that chakra is due to unconscious factors that have not been resolved in your life. They are surfacing because the kundalini is pushing em out for you to deal with. You may be uncomfortable with your sexual energy or desire complex!
Get on top of it man......
You may find creative outlets for it or do something that tires you out a really big project - then you will feel more relaxed and able to deal with the energy rush!

You might want to look up Sat Kriya before passing judgment.

I agree. But how to unravel this? -

Re: How to go beyond Swadishthana
Wed, November 5, 2008 - 6:07 PMHey pano
I'm right there with you! Being blocked and knowing it is harder than being blocked in ignorance. Awareness is an amazing accomplishment in and of itself. I think it's humbling to learn from that awareness for a while without trying to move beyond the pain. As far as I understand it, that chakra is associated with guilt and shame. Stick with it, see what you learn, and trust that it is only coming up because you are ready for it to do so. THIS IS the awakening of swadishtana.
If you haven't already explored it, "wheels of light" by adodea judith, is very insightful into the psychology of chakras.
Kick ass insight that works for me: Get astrology reading with an evolutionary, soul focused astrologer.
And this is just a shot in the dark...
Depending on what kind of stuff your addressing- you may want to masturbate like you did when you were 16. You know, own your temptations instead of trying to transcend them.
