Hello all, I recently attended a Kundalini class that focussed on the kriya? for "opening the chest and lungs and balancing the magnetic field", as the instructor explained at the beginning of the class. At the time, I had been experiencing mild chest/lung pains for a couple of weeks. The pain disappeared completely after that single session, and did not return for several weeks. Well, the pain has returned, and I can't afford to go to another class at this time. I remember how to do the exercises, but I can't remember in which order the exercises were to be practiced, or how long each exercise should be practiced. If anyone knows the set of exercises I am reffering to, and can send me a guide to these exercises (pictures of the poses would be awesome), I would be most appreciative. Thanks!
Peace,
David

There are dozens of kriyas for that area, so it's hard to know which one you did in class. If you can contact the teacher directly, that would be best because I'm sure he/she would be happy to let you know the name of the kriya and the sequence. Kundalini teachers generally like it when people want to do more yoga.

I do have one called "Preparatory Exercises for Lungs, Magnetic Field, and Deep Meditation" in one of my books. It starts off with whistle breath, then does a lot of arm pumping, torso twists, and shoulder shrugs. If that sounds familiar, PM me and I'll try and get it to you.
