Hey friends. I've just joined this group. I'm grateful it exists.
I have two questions;
1) when doing cobra pose/lifts, do your feet touch or are they to be slightly separated?

2) does anyone have any good suggestions for a kriya/exercise or two that supports a male in lasting longer during lovemaking/possessing greater ejaculatory control? I'm working on it a bit through the Taoist route, but some of what Yogi Bhajan has said about seminal retention being destructive to the nervous system seems to be at play for me, at least in this portion of my learning.

  • All the systems of yoga I do are all Tibetan so take that into consideration (ie there may be differences). The Cobra posture (called sbrul in Tibetan) does not have the feet touching while doing the lifts.

    "Closing the lower doors" (mulabandha) works well for gaining control of apana-vayu which can be applied to ejaculatory control..
  • try masturbating for an hour every night. During these times, take the opportunity to do affirmations and visualizations of sacred sexuality, sexual prowess, liberation, etc.

    do not allow orgasm until the end.

    and stop with the concern... the concern and fear of it is the issue. in reality, i wouldn't mind a man that did that because it makes for a hot and spontaneous round 1... and a loooong round 2.
