I was at a kirtan last night and a woman sang this beautiful chant and I can't seem to find the words to it. Some of the words I remember
Om Shanti Kundalini
Jagadambe mata
Ma Durga....

Does anyone know what chant I am speaking of, or know any other Kundalini chants? I am eagar to learn them!
Many blessings!

check out spiritvoyage.com - we have a lot of good stuff. I am not quite sure what chant this could be from but if you run a search for durga there are some nice chants that come up.

Any other info you could provide? there are a lot of chants to durga out there....

    Hi Moonica.
We did a big chant of
    "Jai Jagatambha Ma Durga"
when Krishnadas came to Seattle a few months back.

The main thing in chant practice wrt kundalini yoga is to co-ordinate with the breath.
A key teaching in Buddhist yoga and Hindu yoga is to work the chant with the breath, through pranayam.

I do rather involved breath meditations where the breath is visualized and segmented while silently recited in the mind. This kind of practice is found in the Buddhist tantra, which is very much a kundalini yoga. Guru Sakyamuni Buddha was a kundalini yogi, and a superb one. Some Buddhist gurus can throw lightning bolts.

    Best,
